Let's Start From the Good Part.

The title of this post is a bit ironic considering everything thats happened since 2019. Let's review:

- A global pandemic began in December 2019

- My panic/stress button goes haywire and I am the one freaking out while Sweden and its people quietly ghost past people in the grocery store sans face mask because our National Health advisor says they are unnecessary while the rest of the world wears them and goes into lockdown. Not Sweden!

- Victor continues his job as a personal trainer, I panic some more.

- My classes and master thesis go remote.

- My thesis topic gets jumbled around and the end date looms on the horizon.

- I take a part time internship at a company that sells baby products, only to nearly miss getting covid from the office outbreak. The rest of my time is spent at home and my internship is cut short due to increasing stress from my Master thesis project.

- Finish my Masters and graduate with less than flying colors but I graduate non the less.

- Covid haults our wedding plans for a moment. Sweden won't let the US in.

- Two weeks before wedding, Sweden opens to vaccinated US citizens. Phew.

- Job hunt begins...nothing.

- 4 interviews that led to no job offer.

- Found a job at a cafe, it turns out to be a shitty experience.

Now that most of the negatives are out, NOW let's skip to the good parts:

- Finished my thesis! Got my Masters!

- Married my best friend and biggest supporter!

- My family was able to come to the wedding!

- The wedding was amazing!

- My friends are amazing!

- Haven't yet gotten the chance to experience covid (thankfully)!

- Found some extra jobs!

- Got a job at a cafe, it's definitely a learning experience!! I learned how to not treat your employees. But let's be honest, I would never treat anyone working for me the way I was treated. Expect people to do things for you? Treat them well.

- Baby #1 on the way!

- Possible move coming in August???
